Mr. Superstar,
I just viewed the Andre the Giant DVD. Your match on there vs. Andre the Giant was a great classical confrontation. It was amazing to see how Andre could dwarf a 300 lb. man. You seemed to be able to match up against him much better than a lot of his other opponents though. At one point, you even had a cobra clutch applied to him down on the mat. This was a match you had against him in '84. Was it difficult to prepare against Andre? How difficult was it to get holds on him? It seemed like other than a few scientific holds, there wasn't a lot that could be done against him in the ring.
thanks

I enjoyed your matches vs. Andre in 1984 as well as your tag team with him in 1986.

Well, you can imagibne how difficult it could be if he didn't want you to do anything. I had a very good relationship with him and we were close friends. He was an excellent professional and matches were fun believe it or not. Not really difficult to prepare for and good memories.
He did give some others a hard tiime and I wouldn't have wanted to be on his bad side!!!!
Thanks for the kind words.

I heard Hulk Hogan say one time that the last match between him and Andre was particularly stressful in that if Andre changed his mind and decided he did not want to lose the match or if Hulk had made a wrong move and angered Andre he would have not gotten the title belt. He stated that to his belief no one could have beaten Andre if Andre hadn't allowed it.

Well I would agree with Hogan. I don't think anyone could beat him if he didn't want you to. At least I wouldn't have ben crazy enough to try.
Second question about belts: no sorry I don't have any.
