Blackjack Mulligan Cage Match

Hey Superstar,

I just watched the "Blackjack Mulligan Shoot Interview" from Highspots.com. In it, Mulligan tells a story of a Greenville cage match againt the Masked Superstar where you rammed is head in the cage it opened up a vein and wouldn't stop bleeding. Any memories of this match come to mind? He said Tommy Young almost passed out and you stopped the bleeding with your mask.

Mr. Mulligan say were a great West Virginia football player and one of the best athletes he was in the ring with. He said "Mr. Eadie, I thank you" to the camera and then kinda challenges you to another match in jest.

He also tells a funny story about how he was so sure a 90 minute cage match between you 2 would not draw, he bet George Scott his week's pay...but then you guys sold out the building.

Yes, I was lucky enough to have many good matches with Mulligan. I respect him very much and I consider him a good persoanl friend. He isvery kind, he made the matches easy for me too. I had many against him and later on we were tag team partners. We made several trips overseas together. Some good stories over the years.

I do remember that match. He was bleeding very badly. Tommy panicked and almost passed out from the sight of the blood. He kept telling Jack how bad it was and telling us he should stop the match.Jack started to get worried. Iremember telling Tommy to shut the hell up. I just put Jack into the Cobra hold and put direct pressure on the cut with my head( mask). The bleeding eventually did stop but it was a very bad cut. I think I mentioned to Jack it would have killed a normal human being!!!!

Jack is one of a kind and it was my good fortune to work with him .

I hope to see him at one of the upcoming Legends events.
