Hello Mr. Eadie, I met you at WrestleReunion II in Valley Forge. You were truely the nicest wrestler there in my opinion. I remember when I was in line, there were some very rude little kids yelling and you told them "you are going to learn later in life to have some decorum." This was much to me and my brother's delight as they were quite annoying. Anyway, I was wondering what your memories were of booking the GWF were? Was that your only booking job in your career? I was a big fan of Global. Also, did you come up with the name Axis The Demolisher? I have always wondered that. And one more question. Was your lawsuit with the WWF (w/ Randy Colley) settled out of court or was there an actual trial or judgement? Thanks very much, Scott

Scott,
Yes I remember the remakrs to the children. I wasn't , as I am sure you know, trying to supersede parential control. I was simply trying to let them know in a nice way that their type of behavior isn't accepted in gneral society. At least in the areas I inhabit.
With regard to your questions of the legal case: I am not at liberty to comment. I hope you understand.
Axis; it was basically by my attorney's request. It was a name used for one day until formal papers were filed and recorder. Not meant to be anything other than that. It just so happened it was on the day of a taped event so it looked as if it were longer. Just advice from my fine attorney.
Thansk for your nice comments. I simply try to treat people as I would like to be treated. I hear too many stories about the wrestlers being rude to the fans. I can't understand that. I can only bve me. Some of the wrestlers forget(perhaps never knew) that if it weren't for the fans many of them would be pumping gas. Too much too soon for many.
If you were to try and tell them that they wouldn't understand where your coming from. Upbringing: as we have discussed!!!!!!! Money, fame and fortune does not a good person make!!!!Just take a look at the various awards shows and see how the suposed stars of stage and screen carry themselves. Listen to the music today and hear how the artists relate to society!!!!messed up world our children are faced with. The family values are the place to start>
Sorry about the stumping , but when we talk about family and kids and chances at life I always get into it.
Hope that helps

Scott,
See I was so rapped up in the social issue I forgot to answer your question about booking.
It was my first official job title as such. I had been making my own ideas in Japan and helping them with other matches for years . I was involved as others in their matches in:GEORGIA, CHARLOTTE, MONTREAL, NOVA SCOTIA. We all were involved in our matches thru our careers. At least the guy's I knew closely. It was the first time I was listed as "THE BOOKER".
I enjoyed the experience. I always thought it was a natural progression from in the ring to that booking. I had always thought I would end up doing it. Too bad the money ran out. I think we had a good thing going. It was a bad initial deal by the money people but if we could have stayed on it would have been adjusted. If you recall it must have generated some notice. Too many of the new wrestlers we created became prominent figures in both WWE and WCW. We must have done something right. We just did't have the finances to keep going.
I really think the time is right for another new company. What is on today isn't cutting it with the general fans. I hear often the desire for old style wrestling programming. If it were not so there wouldn't be the proliferation of the Legends events that have popped up. Call me old butI don't want my grandsons watching and not knowing what they may see come over the tube. They will be exposed to it soon enough.

Thanks for the reply. I totally understood the remarks to the kids. Respect goes a long way. I agree with wrestlers being rude to fans. I've heard horror stories about Dusty, and he was the most unfriendly guy at WrestleReunion II, but wasn't rude...just not freindly. It was a pleasure to meet guys like yourself, Bill Apter, Bobby Fulton, etc. that went out of their way to be be super freindly.
Thanks for your answers....
Scott

I really wouldn't feel right commenting about others behavior. I try to be me and treat the fans how I would like to be treated. Some others evidently don't feel that way. Different stokes for different folks. I certainly hear your comments , just move on they will never get it anyway!!! After all they are STARS !!!!!!! and Legends in their own minds!!!! if you catch my drift!!!!!

I really couldn't enjoy them because they kept yelling stupid stuff, but Trent Acid shut em up alittle bit after he got flung off the apron into the rail.

I don't recall that part but perhaps they may have learned something from the experience. At least we can hope for the best. If they failed to learn from that they will find out soon enough. Not all responses will be as kind and pleasant and positively addressed as ours was.
I try to relate that to the kids I work with. Not everyone will see their behaviors as we do. Some people take offense to it and their response will be negative at best and possibly harmful at worst. It was a teaching/learning situation. I hope they gained insight from it.
