Yes I recently heard about the Smash figure. Barry doen's hold the rights to the character so I would imagine it is going thru WWE.
I haven't been contacted by the company and I don't ezpect to be soon. I would not be interested if I had to sign the WWE legends contract in it's current form. If there were some changes perhaps but really I don't forsee that happening. So I wouldn't look for an AX Demolition figure anytime in the very near future. I have learned in this busines to" NEVER SAY NEVER". SO WE WILL WAIT TO SEE.

It’s true that a legends deal includes figures, but you can get a Jakks figure under the WWE banner without a legends deal. Bruno Sammartino and Ultimate Warrior are both on bad terms with WWE yet Bruno is getting a figure and Ultimate Warrior just extended his contract with Jakks.
So basically if these two can be made there's really no reason why an Ax figure can’t be made if you and Jakks agree on things.

With reference to your question. Barry doesn't have the rights to appear, even at a signing, using the character. I wouldn't think he would want to get into any trouble with WWE.
As to me appearing with him, I am not interested at this time. Again, I will never say never , but at this time I would say No!!

Plus for those asking about a possible" Ax or Superstar" figure. I just got the contact info from the company. I hope to be speaking with them soon. If all can be worked out I will certainly let you know.

-They are planning to produce :" Ax Demolition",
as a Single,
in Tag with Smash
and in a "three pack" with Ax-Smash-Crush.
- Also they will be offering a" Masked Superstar" figure.
I am not sure when they will be out. As soon as I get additional information I will let you know.

As to the color combonation!No I didn't discuss it. Perhaps I could get some input from you all. I will let them know we are trying to decide. It may be that they will need to bring out more than one color. I look forward to your suggestions.

The combination would have to be either of the classic silver/black or gold/black that you wore in your WWF/MACW days. Maybe they could do both and have one a short printed chase variant edition.
