David Chappell recently interviewed Rich Landrum for the Mid-Atlantic Gateway. It may be several weeks before the interview is ready for the website (they talked for over 3 hours!), but we have a neat little audio clip of Rich welcoming everyone to the website. It's on the Gateway now. Mid-Atlantic Gateway Rich hosted World Wide Wrestling from 1977 through the early 80s, and was the long time ring announcer in Richmond and surrounding towns. (I'm told Richmond area fans are going to LOVE this interview in particular!) Special thanks to Rich for the time he gave the Gateway; we all look forward to the interview.

It'll be great to hear from Rich - even though World Wide Wrestling was suppose to be the 'B' show, I actually enjoyed the show more than the 'A' show (no offense to David Crockett and Bob Caudle), because of Rich and Johnny Weaver.
Rich strikes me as the type of guy tht everyone likes and doesn't have an enemy in the world; probably a good trait to have when standing 2 feet away from somebody who weighs 250-300 lbs.
