I may be losing my mind and be totally off base with this.......

but I think I remember an angle in Mid-Atlantic where a
masked wrestler called "The Shark" or something like that was brought in........I think he was supposed to take out Igor. He had a blue mask with sharks teeth outlining the face and If I remember right it was you and Malenko who brought him in. I remember one TV match where Igor handled him easily and that was it. Am I remembering things right and if so, can you remember much about the angle?

I really don't remember that angle. I'm not saying it didn't happen. I just don't remember. You fans all amaze me with the information you have cataloged. I'm sorry but I can always claim "Partimers" as my defense.

I'm still not 100% sure if I'm remembering the angle exactly right but I do know the wrestler existed for at least one week on TV. I don't remember any buildup for him coming into Mid-Atlantic so I guess it was a one time TV thing as I only recall seeing him on that one occassion.

So does anybody else out there remember anything about what I'm talking about or is this whole thing a figment of my imagination?

I have been trying to figure out which wrestler you may be thinking of. I remember a Mexican wrestler that was in and out of Mid Atlantic for a short time when I was there. He wore a blue mask, called himself Blue Demon, Blue Avenger, or Blue ? if I remember correctly, Blue something but not the Shark. Hope that stirs some memories and possibly some one else can help!!!!!

I was thinking about this a little more and trying to remember if I had the name right. Then I realized this was around the time that JAWS was a hit movie so now I'm thinking his name was JAWS.
I just looked around on Mid-Atlantic Gateway and found this page

If you look on the roster list it has JAWS listed as a heel.
So I'm guessing that is the name but you might not remember the angle since I think it was just a one week one shot deal.

I checked out your information. The wrestler I was speaking about was the "BLUE SCORPIAN", I don't recall the Jaws character. Sorry!

So does anyone reading this remember or have any info on JAWS??? Was he a Mid-Atlantic regular under a hood or was it a character that may have wrestled in other territiories?
