Dear Mr. Superstar, First off, I would like to thank you for all the hard work that you put in your matches to entertain us the fans. I've only had the oppertunity to see you wrestle on TV, and I've always hated the fact that I never got to see you in action, in person. I have 2 questions. 1. How did you like your stay wrestling in Quebec, Canada? 2. How different was it working with Dino Bravo and Rick Martel in single programs? I've never had the oppertunity to see these matches (being from Canada ) And always wondered if there was any difference between the 2 and such. Thanks again for taking the time to answer our questions. Regards, Serge Niles

Serge,
Good to hear from you. I have great memories of Quebec. The Montreal area is fantastic. Good wrestling history and great fans. I really am truthful when I say that if I had to live outside the U.S. , Montreal would be my choice. Great food, good times, fun people, good shopping. I have many, many good friends still living there. I was just there a few months ago to visit. Good town!!!!!
As for the wrestling you must know that for many years it was one of the top wrestling areas in the business. Many great stars either came from or started in that area.
I had a very good personal friendship with Dino. He was a very good professional. I enjoyed the time I had there. My matches with both Dino amd Martel went well. Dino was more of a strong babyface where as Martel got more fans sympathy. Dino was a rugged babyface and Martel more of a pretty boy type with high flying moves. Both were good professionals and both were easy to work with. I had many more matches with Bravo because I did the cigar burn to his eye angle with him. Martel was in and out . If I remember correctly he was in Minneapolis as their champuion. He would only be in Montreal for a short time now and then.
Yes, very good memories of Quebec. My wife and youngest daughter were with me for the entire summer season. I spent two full years in and out of Montreal and went back for weekends after that. Of course it goes without saying that my wife and daughter loved the shopping there. It turned out very well, the dollar was and still is strong and all the purchases were to my benifit with the positive exchange rate.
Sincerely, Superstar
