Folks, I received an email from Boris Zhukov this evening that I'd like to share with you:
Hey Friends
I hate to have to tell you, but wanted you and your family to know that my son was in a terrible car accident on Fri, Dec. 8. He is in serious, but stable condition at Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, Fl.
(SINU-UNIT) He had serious head trama and had to have a blood clot removed from his brain, broken right collarbone, shattered right
leg-left leg had a broken femur and 2nd and third degree burns.
Julia, his mom called me Sat morning 6am (Dec 9) and Tammy and I got there on Sun (Dec 10) we got back home early this morning. He is on a ventilator until Dec. 24, and they will try to start weening him off his ventilator and see if he can breathe on his own. He had skin grafts done this past Tues and is being kept very still and quiet. He had just a huge area on his abdomen burnt as well burns in his groin area and left side.
Also, a female friend of his was killed. I would appreciate so much if you would keep him and this girl's family in your prayers. Wayne had just started a new job and did not have any health insurance, but God has answered so many prayers and I know he will help our family with what we will need for these bills that will be coming in. Please take care and hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I already have had mine, my son is alive and he will make it-Praise The Lord!!
Take care and all my best,
Boris Zhukov
Tragedies like this are bad at any time, but especially this time of year. Sounds like Wayne, Boris and the entire family have begun a long road of recovery. My heart goes out to them. Please keep them in your prayers.
Greg
