I am going to surprise everyone by voting for Sting vs. Rude from Japan. For shear brutality, I had never seen Sting be so brutal, physical, or intense in a match as he was against Rude. He physically just beat Rude up. Rude won the match, but had to retire after that match. Sting twice did sprinting clotheslines on Rude down on the aisleway. Rude's neck and back took a constant pounding during that contest. Sting had many memorable contests, but that particular match seemed to be at another level.

it's hard to pick. The matches of his I enjoyed the most were with Flair, Vader, Cactus + Muta. I'll pick Clash 1 with Flair. I also enjoyed his Clash 3 bout with Windham.Oh, and no Cactus Jack Beach Blast bout on the poll? For shame......

For me its a toss up between Superbrawl III vs Vader...and...Superbrawl I w/ Stink & Lex vs The Stinkers.... I've gone with Superbrawl I, as just everything about that match takes it to another level, whereas the strap match is just brutality & violence.... There's no doubt that the Cactus Jack match from Beach Blast '92 should be on that list.... And where is Sting vs Bill Watts?

yes i was..... ;D of those listed, i chose the one with lex against the stinkers, BUT....i was at one better match, now that you mention it. it was in '87 in greensboro of all places. sting-chris adams against -eddie gilbert-terry taylor. an incredible match and it was like the third or foruth match on the show.

Mr. R Yates was the inventor of the "Other/Specify Match". It nearly put him up there with Dusty Rhodes, Eric Bischoff and other novelty match inventors.

I once had the misfortune to witness Yates participate in an 'Other (specify)' match with the bathroom of his Spartanburg Marriott penthouse suite after ill-fated trip to the IHOP in the early hours of the morning.... ;D ;D

Since "Any" wasn't listed, I went with that one. As we all know, ANY Sting match is the best!! ;D
