In his book, Ric Flair stated that Diamond Dallas Page was a millionaire only because he was Eric Bischoff's neighbor. So I had to ask this question, do you feel that Diamond Dallas Page was deserving of a seven figure salary, or was he way overpaid for his level of talent?

In 97 - 98 he was one of the few 'fresh' things in WCW that was popular (i.e. not a WWF re-tread), and for a two-week period circa Halloween Havoc '98 he certainly appeared to be one of the biggest stars in the industry. There was no longevity to that situation, a situation which wrestling fans don't look highly on, plus he got there from being pushed to the moon by his pal Bischoff, a push which certainly wasn't warranted on talent. It just clicked for a few weeks there when WCW went supernova before burning out....
Ultimately, he was one of the problems when crunch time came in 1999 - an overaged, essentially untalented (but hard-working) guy that had a catchphrase and a finishing move, the company's image of all you need to be a main-event guy. But no-one bought him as that, but he like so many less worthy guys were continuously pushed over others that had talent, despite not drawing....so, no - he wasn't worth the money. But I'm SURE he didn't have a problem with it....
