Hello,
I was just wondering who here is from the Greenville/Spartanburg SC area or close to it. I will more than likely be holding a show in Gaffney, SC in a couple of months, and I was wondering if anyone on this board would be close enough to attend.
Thanks, Charles

The people on this board are troopers. They travel 2-4 hrs. for a GOOD indy show.

I am and I would go to the show. You have to get the word out on the show. Dont do like others and not let people know about the show.

No it's not all about legends. Just good old school wrestling , and you have the matches tell a good story with a good end to it. You don't need 10 legends hell you would not make any money if you do that. Just have 1 or 2 good main events with good workers to finish out the card. Keep tickets low in price and have like 5 or 6 matches. But keep in mind SC has the Athletic Commission that you have to work with. If you hold the event in Gaffney then get the word out to Spartanburg/Greenville/Gaffney/Shelby/Gastonia. You can get people to come to the show but keep in mind APW has shows in Spartanburg SC on each Sat. Go to the Mid-Atlantic Gateway and look at what shows are in the area for your timeframe dont pick a holiday like the 4th. of July. Don't trust the net to get the word out. You have to work the town and find people to help. Put out flyers out.

what slickric said....
as for a good indy? never hurts to have a legend. but they make your talent costs go up. i wouldn't use too many on one show.

I'm fairly close to Spartanburg, not so much to Greenville, but that's not too much further. As long as it's on a night I don't work and ain't broke, LMAO! ;D
