The wwe claims Kurt Angle is the only gold medal winner to ever be in the wwe or wwf wasn't there another superstar in the wwf who had won gold medals. I believe if memory serves me that Ken Paterra was a gold medalist. (May have that wrong). Or are they saying he is the only wrestler to have won the gold medal for wrestling?

I'm not 100% on this, but I believe he is the only gold medalist for wrestling to be on the WWE. That's at least how they phrase it. Could be a line of BS, ya never know. Can't speak about Patera.

I think that Ken Patera won a gold medal, in the early 1970s at the Pan American Games, not the Summer Olympics.

You are right but he did win a bronze metal at the Olympics but it was in power lifting. I just found out through wikipedia.
