There are better ways to get money then to sell your soul to the devil. I don't think integrity should have a price. Vince thinks everything can be bought I just wish for once someone would prove him wrong. Oh how hope springs eternal in the human soul.

I bet you this ..Eddie Graham would've never sold the tapes....for any price. I bet he's rolling over in his grave now! Half of my career is on those tapes. The whole thing is just sickening.

You gotta look at this from a business angle, because that is what it is... totally a business decision. Graham probably realized he couldnt market the product, for whatever reasons, enough to make it a viable business endevour for him. Personally, I thought he was off to a good start with having them in the Suncoast stores and all, but I dont know the politics of having to distribute a product that way, but I assume they (Suncoast or other stores) get a chuck of that $9.99. You've got the WWE offering a million dollars(?) for the product that you can't move. Guys, business wise it makes perfect sense. That doesnt mean you have to like it... but its all business.
I think sometimes people forget wrestling, like any other entertainment venture is a business first and foremost.
That's why people who hate McMahon, or say they hate him, go back to work for him. It's a business and the the goal of business is to make money, everything else isnt even a close second.

I know its a business. It just seems to me that Vince has a monopoly of the business. Somehow someway it would be nice to see someone stand up and take back some of the business. Thats why I would love to see a break back to more than one wrestling business. Vince uses his money to push smaller organizations out. Someone has to have the b_ _ ls to stand up against him. Hope it happens while I am still around to see it.

Funny thing is that I would imagine a lot of people within WWE would love to see a TNA or Ring of Honor or somebody else stage serious competition to Vince.

Of course they would. They'd never admit that, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to see the WWE was much better off with competition from another wrestling organization.
Actually, the WWE has all kinds of "other" competition, the same as any other network television program or event. They have competition in that regard from all over, because there is so much more the audience/wrestling fans can do with their entertainment dollar and have so many other choices.

Vince has a lot of money. So as long as he can squash all the competition the way he does then we will never see the great competitive wrestling matches we once had. Vince will eventually ruin all that made wrestling great as he is already well on his way. He has made wrestling more about sex and screen plays then what goes on in the ring. The matches are boring and all lip service. He has gone too far in turning it into "entertainment".

It all doesn't really matter to me. Vince's competition from me comes in the form of one Jack Bauer and Monday Night Football. Now if I can just find something to watch from May thru September -- can we say a baseball game and this year, the NHL playoffs -- then I'd never have to watch WWE on TV at all. LOL.

You see I have always been very passionate about wrestling. I have watched wrestling for over 30 years. I just hate to see Vince come in like a spoiled brat and change something that once could truly be said was good family entertainment. These days wrestling could just about carry an x rating. Vince thinks that everyone out here is horny old dogs like himself. I like to see a wrestling match. Theres to much flapping of the lips and too many sexual innuendos. Its not something you want your young kids or even your old ones to watch.
