I agree that having Christian chase the belt would've been good, if not better. As I said earlier, giving him a run is fine with me, too. But I would've liked to have seen a chase for it, at least 6 months, maybe a year to wear off the WWE feel of it.

That's why I've been pointing out Samoa Joe. He doesn't have the WWE-feel, which is good. But they got him the X Division strap and he's unbeaten and I just think they are properly building him up.

I AGREE SAMOA JOE IS IN THE BEST MONSTER HEEL PUSH I'VE SEEN IN YEARS.

I don't have a problem with Christian as champion. There should have been more build up to his winning. Without house shows, they just don't seem to have anything to do but have some sort of title change on every other ppv. They will give the belt back to Jarrett before too long.
Samoa Joe is the best thing that they have right now. I hope that they don't ruin the unbeaten streak by doing something stupid. I would love to see him go after the NWA title and have the champions do their best to avoid him. Jarrett could probably work the program as the champion on the run better than anyone else that the have right now.

I just like how TNA gives people a shot not like WWE they keep the belt on HHH all the and just have a set few who can hold it. Jeff J. needs to keep out of the title hunt and let some new people get a shot.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I thought the plan was for Sting vs. Jarrett for the title a couple of months down the road.

For whatever reason, I like Christian as the champ. No, he's not the greatest wrestler in the world, and until his speech on Impact following his win, I wasn't super hot on him holding the belt. I know that a few people don't really like TNA, and that's cool. The more I watch, the more I like it (though they are starting to venture into WWE land with the goofy storylines, and whatnot.) His speech on Impact about the prestige behind the title... well I believed in it. He's holding a belt that so many great wrestlers over the decades has held. It at least seemed like it meant something to him, and that's refreshing to see in a champion, as opposed to a filthy mouthed street thug as the face champ on the other fed. I think it's great he's getting some kind of push because he has been around a long bit, and didn't get much in the way of a push from Vince. That being said, I fully expect Jarrett to win it back soon. He's the HHH of TNA it seems, lol.

I agree with ozz and Bobby on this whole NWA/TNA crap. It's a disgrace that they can even use the name NWA. It takes away from the quality of the real NWA I was in. JCP days, etc. If you suck so bad to get fired by Vince what does that tell you. Nuff said!

even if someone had the money to do it, it be close to impossible to bring back the old school due to the amount of time that has lapsed between the old school workers and the guys today. Christian looks really weak as a world champion. I know about the "beatable champ" theory, but geez... I think some of the chicks could beat him. But well see how it all plays out. Jarrett gets another title reign soon...lol. That's my prediction. And yeah... I also predict the sun will rise in the east.
