Kanyon out of the closet???

I've read on several sites that Chris Kanyon (Kanyon, Mortis) recently came out of the closet and announced he was gay at an event. Hes saying that is what got him fired up north because Vince didn't like that he was openly gay. He says hes the first wrestler to come out to the public. Curious if anybody else has seen this and what they think.

I haven't read this anywhere, but if so that's his choice. Now, that said, why would Vince fire this guy over this if he kept Pat Patterson around for so long as an in-ring performer, announcer and talent director, road agent. I mean, isn't there a double standard there.

Curious why, if you read this on "several sites," you didn't mention a single one of them as reference to support your post?

- from A and R Wrestling: Last night, February 4th, at the Blood, Sweat and Ears show in Sudbury, Ontario, former WWE/WCW Superstar Chris Kanyon "came out" of the closet saying he was gay. I don't know wether it was truely a work or not but he made a big speech saying that was the real reason he was released by Vince McMahon. He stressed that he was telling the trith and it was not fake or what, and it was up to the fans to choose what to believe, but he continued saying that he was the first openely gay wrestler, and its been 14 years where he had to hide who he truely was. He went on about it until he was interrupeted by James Champagne.

I'm not saying whether its true or not. I was just curious if anyone else had heard about it.
