From wrestlingobserver.com:
Yoshihiro Tajiri was released today by WWE. This was just weeks after he had signed a new three-year contract. The decision was likely his as in a magazine column he wrote that came out a few days ago, he talked about how many wrestlers were tired and unhappy following the death of Guerrero, and the European tour, and hinted of wanting to get out. Tajiri is scheduled for Monday's Raw as his final appearance.

This news has been out there most of the day. From what I understand it was Tajiri's decision. He'll work Monday's taping and that will be it. He's going home to be with family, do some writing and I would guess once the 90-day no-compete claus is up, work some Japanese shows in free time.

If this is what Tajiri really wants, and he's happy then I'm happy for him. Sometimes you just have to step back and do what you feel is right, no matter how it affect your cash flow.

The WWE did not use him like they should have , in ECW he was great and put on a A+++ show. I wish him the best and to say thank you. Family comes first.

I always liked Tajiri. I think had some damn good matches in ECW. I wish him good luck.
