missing wrestlers

this board has been up for close to a year now and it has been blessed by a few workers posting on it. while i do know that they are mostly local indy guys here in the carolinas, they are still workers we know. and then there are the occassional promotors that comes on here ONLY to promote a show they have coming up just as some of the indy guys do. but i have noticed that in recent weeks, we have had two guys, legends i can name right now, that have not been on this board for a long time. and i mean two well known names in the business. and one of those guys sternly expressed his dislike to the squabbles on message boards between posters.
so where are they now? anybody know? i'll put every dollar i have right now in my wallet, they got tired of all the negative crap going on about wrestlers and promotors by handful of posters who seem to make their only reason to live is to complain and think they know it all about the business.
this is only an opinion, so i haven't spoken to either of the two in question. but i also notice that the indy wrestlers and promotors that come here, make a post or two and we never see them again. they are gone just like the two legends in question.
all the negative griping needs to stop long enough so we can welcome more legends to joins us. i know of a plenty who not only have their own sites but frequent other boards that would be great to have here. but where are they? they are not here. i wonder why? must be some reason they do not join this board. my money is on the number of excessive 'negative posters' griping about the current scene (the scene that they themselves are a part of).

There was a time not long ago that I couldn't wait to look on the board and see what was being said. I learned a lot of history and a lot about wrestling legends. After a good show I wanted to see what others had to say, what they might have seen that I may have missed. Now I spend my time wondering whether or not its worth it to continually have to stand up for the wrestlers that I respect while faceless vultures try to devour their lives, and stand up for promotions that I have come to love and count on.
A few posters have sucked the good times out of these boards. Like Frost said, "Nothing gold can stay." But no matter what they say about their bad times, thanks to Tony Hunter and Greg Price in the last couple of years I have got to meet my heroes like Ronnie Garvin, Tully Blanchard, Ole Anderson, Bobby, Dennis, Cornette, the Baron, Terry Funk, Abdullah, Jeff Jarrett, Dusty Rhodes, and even Bob Caudle. Thanks to them I have got to see and learn to admire Brad Anderson as a wrestler that carries on the traditions of the past and should be a world wide star.
I don't know why some posters think they have to try to tear down with insults and personal attacks. I don't respect them. And I ask that this board does something about it before they start to lose wrestling fans and is stuck with something else.
