Someone on another board posted that Bobby Eaton had a heart attack and is in the hospital in TN.
Said they saw it posted on the Trent Van Drisse's Mid-Southern Wrestling board out of Nashville. A guy posted and said Eaton was in the hospital in Bristol and that Dundee said it was bad.
Get well soon, Bobby.

Weird that I wasn't contacted/notified about it . Not saying it's not a credible site, just that it's supposedly been posted there and WC, and NO MENTION of it on Some of the other bigger sites, most notably, www.theoriginalmidnightexpress.com. I would gather it'd have been posted there for sure? I sure hope it's not true, Bobby's my man and dear friend. Hope he gets well soon.

So very sorry to hear this if true.
Saw Bobby nine nights ago at George South's show in Mooresville and know he wasn't feeling well.
Please, anyone, keep us updated.

I remember when we had dinner with him last month he was sweating profusely. Makes you wonder if it could be related to some heart problems. I sure hope not. I'm anxiously awaiting to find out if this news is legit or not.

Dave Meltzer just confirmed it:
--Bobby Eaton remains hospitalized in Tennessee after a heart attack and surgery this past week. Best wishes for a complete recovery for one of those guys that you won't hear anyone say much bad about and one of the great in-ring performers of the 80s.

Oh God. That is BAAAAAD news. One of the nicest people you'll ever meet. It goes without saying that I hope the surgery was successful and that Bobby returns to good health. If Stingmark or anyone else can get any more info as to how he's doing then be sure to post it here or wherever ASAP....

Good to hear Bobby is out of the hospital. It looked like at fanfest that he was carrying a lot more extra weight than he used to. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

In a direct example of how things quickly get blow out of proportion - this in from the Observer site:
'This is a statement from Bobby Eaton: "Thank you for all the kind words and well wishes, but I must admit that I did not have a medical emergency. What did happen was I have high blood pressure and during a visit to the doctor he found that I have a slight hint of sugar diabetes. Looking forward to seeing all of my fans as I plan to keep all of my scheduled dates."....'
