Does anyone know anything about referee Dick Worley. He worked a good bit for the WWWF and AWA backin the '70s and early '80s. He was probally the the only ref from that time that the fans knew by name.

I saw his name listed as a guest at the wrestling convention held in New Jersey a few months back.......Always thought referee Dick Kroll was the best official in the northeast...Dick Woerleee always looked grumpy.......Of course, Tommy Young was the gold standard for referees in wrestling.....PERIOD......

Yeah he was at WrestleReunion II last year. I got a 8x10 of him cause I knew he was going to be there but I only saw him once and he was in a hurry so i didn't get his autograph. He was the Ref on some of the matches that weekend included the chain match with Ivan Koloff and Dominic DeNucci. It was funny because DeNucci kept going for the pin when pins don't count in a Russian Chain match (you have to drag the guy around the ring and touch all 4 corners) and Dick kept counting the counts. Ivan didn't seem happy.
