I just got back home this afternoon and still have quite a bit of rest to catch up on.

A detailed post will come later, once I've recovered, but I want to let everyone know how much I appreciate the support and kind words from everyone in Rockville. I realize there were some snafus, both large and small, and I tried to deal with each situation as best I could. I know some things left some folks unhappy, and I can understand that. I just want you to know that I did everything in my power to make the entire weekend come off exactly as advertised.

I know some folks will pick us apart for some of the shortcomings. I would just like to reiterate to everyone that we've done this five times now and, each time, we've tried to improve upon our mistakes and errors from the previous fanfest. None of us are perfect, definitely not me, but I can tell you and I think most of you can see that I work very hard to make these fanfest weekends happen. It hurts when there are no-shows, but it hurts even more when folks call me greedy and say I'm only trying to fill my pockets. That's definitely not the case.

Again, I hope that each of you had the time of your life. And thanks soooooo much for supporting our fanfest weekends.

I'll be back once I've had time to catch up on some rest, and share some of my thoughts on the weekend, answer your questions, and shed some light on some things that did or didn't happen over the weekend that you might have wondered about.
