Am I the only one that has had enough of Virgil?A friend of mine had a Virgil item and walked toward the table.Virgil grabbed the item and signed then quickly said $20 Please ,without ever being asked to sign the item or even asked a price. Finally he said OK $10 Ill give you a discount .I missed out on getting another Bundy item because I was avoiding Virgil the rest of the weekend. It is really sad to say my weekend was dampened by a Mid-Carder at best..AM I the only guy that has experiences like this?

My wife and I had "NO" problems with Virgil at all. As a matter of fact, we spent about 2 hours at his booth just talking about the good old days. Yes, I bought one of his photos for $20, but he signed it and even took a few pictures with us with our own camera. Hell, I even blew it up to an 8 X 10 for my collection. Just wish everyone would give him a chance.

I haggled with him a bit. I had the mag with him and Dibiase that I wanted signed and ended up paying him $15 for one of his photos, my mag signed, and a photo with him. Not a great deal but not too shabby either.

I could not escape Virgil most of the weekend. I did get one of his photos and plus I got him to sign two of my items on top of it for $20 so it wasn't to bad.

When I had a couple of old WWF mags he even asked to see them and was flicking through them for a bit.
I wonder if he made his hotel money back.

Virgil was right next tomeand Graham's table and kept haggling us, talking about Tatanka on steroids, I finally had enough, and said, "At least Tatanka has a job. Please go back to your table." Annoying guy, and a WWE Superstar he is not. But, a nice guy. lol

I didn't have any probs. with him bugging me, aside from hitting on me. But I did hear that he took a pic with someone & stuck his hand out & said, "Give me my f*ckin' money." I mean, c'mon, there's no cause for that. No more Virgil, we deserve better than that "WWE Superstar".

My wife and I had "NO" problems with Virgil at all. You'd be the only one. I commend you on that, but also feel very sorry for you talking to him for 2 hours. I gave him enough of a chance. He was so irritating. He'd slap random people on the back. No one liked him. Sometimes he didn't even stay at his own table long enough to sign. Someone had told me Greg Valentine said "What the f has ever done for the buisness. Why is he up at the fron and I'm down here?". He even tried to pick a fight with me on Sunday. He's totally an ass. I hope to never see him again. If I do, I'll charge him to talk to me.

At least you guys didn't have to sit directly across the hall from him all weekend. I felt like I was in H**L, being forced to watch Virgil matches all day long, over and over the same matches all weekend long.

I have feeling you cried at some point watching those two matches. BTW, he was on a team of 4 on each of those matches. Is he really "great" if Piper, Slaughter and others do the dirty work? Still I feel for you.

He did have the single match against Ted DiBiase where he won the Million Dollar Championship also. And also a match against Shawn Michaels. But it was still the same thing over and over. I wouldn't subject someone to watch those matches one time, and I had to watch them all weekend. I am presently still recovering from having been subjected to that.

Lol, I can picture Virgil crying at a convention, hitting people, saying,"Please buy my stuff".

yeah, Virgil was also in the worst possible spot - the entrance. There was no way to avoid him. He tried to con me into buying photos and stuff, but I wouldn't and didn't. He didn't bother me after the first couple times I walked by, but I agree with NO MORE VIRGIL AT FANFEST! In addition to these stories, I heard the one about him walking over to Graham Cawthon's table and OFFERING to sign some stuff, and then charging $20.
