Does anyone know what he is doing these days? I remember his early days as a jobber on Georgia Championship Wrestling. He popped up occassionally on Mid Atlantic Wrestling. I just watched a match from 1985 from Mid Atlantic Wrestling TV where he wrestled Ric Flair. Chic was really cut and had the look to be a great wrestler. I wonder why he never got a push? Does anyone know if he ever got beyond the enhancement role in any of the smaller territories?

Last I heard was that Chic was working GA indies as a top guy. I do not know if still exists or not but Teddy Long had his hands in a promotion w/ Pez Whatley and Rocky King. The name of the promotion escapes me, but I know that their announcer wass a guy named Leggett. Pez was very bitter at life (RIP) and left the group, Rocky was removed b/c he tried to make himself the big fish and Leggett left for undisclosed reasons. Chic was insturmental in training new guys and stretching those who needed worked hard.

Chick was a talented guy and had a great look......He worked around a lot of smaller territoreies in the south and always worked hard in the ring...You can actually see him in the ring celebrating Kerry Von Erich's NWA title win over Ric Flair at the WCCW Parade of Champions show.......Occasionally I see his name pop up on independent shows around Georgia. From my estimation he would be close to 60 years old.......Still looked to be in great shape last time I saw him on a show......
