Ya geez, ricky was the least anyone was worried about, but no Slater, Bunk. Buck, and the main reason i went to this damn thing, Billy Graham. Plus i feel bad for the people who didnt get bret hart items signed. I have been to every fanfest with the exception of the thanksgiving weekend (Family much more important). So after being at 4 of these, there has been a major problem at each one. from Landell, to Rich, to Stan Lane being sent home, to Sting Cancelling, To Graham and others cancelling this time WAY after everyone had paid for tickets, I cant see myself going to another for the disappointment again. actually, you're wrong. I was dissapointed Ricky wasn't there, and I know of some others who were also.

Ricky Morton was the most disappointing no-show for me. I am hoping against hope that he and Greg can maybe work something out for a future fanfest (like Stan Lane)

there was word from someone at Fanfest that Ricky may have got a gig as a WWE agent, but I haven't found any info anywhere about that. Anyone know more about this?

I didn't mind Ricky not being there. It sort of sucked that Billy Graham wasn't there but even if he wasn't there, I still had an awesome time.

I was really looking forward to getting my photo op with the RnR, so Ricky not showing up pissed me off. But Graham cancelling at the last minute was a nightmare for everyone, as he was the biggest draw of the show....

I have to disagree about Graham being the biggest draw. Did you see the line for Hartfoundation pics?

I personally think both were of equal draw Graham and Hart. Personally I was more intrested in Graham more then Hart without a doubt and spent alot more on items to get signed. All the No shows made the weekend very disappointing but I guess"Stuff" happens .

Hardcore might have a point here. I think Graham appealed more to the old school fans where Bret appealed more to the new school fans. I don't believe Graham has appeared at a previous Fanfest so perhaps interest was around the same.
In any case, is any one wrestler a draw for Fanfest? It seems to me people come more for the event as a whole instead of one or two people. But perhaps there are wrestlers who might persuade people to come who otherwise might've been undecided? In that regard then I can see Bret and Superstar Graham falling into that category.

I have to disagree about Graham being the biggest draw. Did you see the line for Hartfoundation pics? Comparing it to what?? I just felt like Graham was the ''big northeast champion'' that the whole premise of a 'Capitol Wrestling' fanfest was built around - the big 'fresh' name that has never done a fanfest for Greg before and, to my knowledge, rarely does these things at all. Yeah sure - Bret is always going to be a bigger draw, due to the fact that he's more recent and more famous, that's obvious....but Bret and Graham usually had equal billing in the promotional material, and I sense that Graham was the jewel in the crown for Greg's line-up, the real prestige deal, and as Bret had done Fanfest before Graham just seemed more important to me....

the Harts lineup was way longer than anyone else. The line was so long it was going into the exhibior room. It seemed to me that a lot of the Fanfest attendees who had been there before, wanted to see Graham. But I heard a lot more people griping that "Bret better show up!" than I heard griping that Graham couldn't make it.

while I am sure that people were anxious if Bret didn't show up, I have not really heard of Bret not showing up at events, maybe late, but not a no show. Certainly if there is a real emergency, any fan would understand that.
