This is my first post, I've been lurking for a long time and was planning on attending. I was going to post but wasn't sure I would be going or not, so I held out until I knew for sure. Here's my story....
My buddy bought tickets for the convention a long while ago thinking he was going to go, but for the longest time he wasn't sure if he would be able to make it. We had planned on driving from Canada to be there, but now it is off and we are not going to make it.
So with that said, I've attended 4 conventions (Wrestlereunion 1 and 2, Wrestling Reunion-the last one in New Jersey and I went to Fan Slam- Wrestlemania 1 tribute in New Jersey)
If you read this far, your probably wondering "why am I reading this" well I just want to wish everyone a good time. For the first timers who are attending, trust me you will have the time of your life, take it all in, don't leave having regrets. Talk to the wrestlers, talk to the wrestlers spouses(if they happen to be there, there an important part of that person) meet fans as I see you guys have a great networking situation here. If you see one of your favorite wrestlers in the bar, offer to buy them a drink, be respectful of them, it goes along way. I always did thing's that made the wrestlers remember me some how.
I met a good protion of the talent appearing, but man what I would do to meet SuperStar Billy Graham, Paul Bearer, Rick Martel and others. I would of went just to meet Billy Graham, I always wanted to just shake his hand and have a picture with him.
The vendors are huge at the conventions, I highly recommend BBrownvideo, I've dealt with Bill for a couple years and he's a very nice guy who I've met several times. Bill has a huge selection of video tapes, check out his website www.bbrownvideo.com , really look over the vendor booth's you never know what you will find.
I'll end with saying enjoy it, have the time of your life.
Thanks
-Jeff-
