Fanfest Advice for Newbie

This gathering of talent and fans looks like a blast! I live in Boston, MA but I happen to be flying home to the great state of Maryland this weekend. I'm new to these types of events but I really enjoy my new hobby of collecting personalized autographed 8x10s from wrestling greats. Only 4 so far (Lita , Lawler , Bundy , Kowalski ;D)

My problem is that I can only make it to the Fanfest on Saturday. I think the single day ticket price of $39 is a great deal. But I'm concerned as to just how many 8x10s I can procure from the autograph lines and vendors guests in an 8 hour period as a non-VIP. I can't really justify springing for the $109 VIP pass due to my schedule limitations.

The airline boarding method of calling folks to the autograph lines is cool. But as a non-VIP I estimate it would be a struggle to get more than 4 good 8x10s for the day. Am I wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm not quite sure how you come up with the number 4.

There are 2 signing sessions on the Autograph Stage Saturday. That's a total of 20 legends. Plus all the talent being brought in by vendors.

Again, unsure how you come up with the number 4, but I think that estimate is waaaaayyyyy low, and maybe some of the folks here on the board can give you a better idea of what to expect.

I was kind of stumped by the 4 as well (thus my not saying a word).

After the VIP's go, then the other fans get their chance to go through the autograph lines. If there are 10 wrestlers at each signing and 2 signings on Saturday, that means you will get at LEAST 20.

Then throw in guys like Buddy Roberts, Paul Bearer, Stevie Ray, Jimmy Snuka, etc. that the vendors have and I don't see how you can leave without 25 or more.

from what I read on his post, he might be referring to 8x10 photos WITH the wrestlers, not the ones to get auto'd

Okay, well there are a number of Photo Ops on Saturday (see the schedule at www.CapitolLegends.com/schedule.htm.) That would still be a LOT more than 4, though.
