no problems there. but the idea behind this is to mix the new with the old, not the old with the new. with the main focus on the old, that would likely turn you off if you came along after so much.

Greg I wanna say im not here to bash anyone. The announcement of #27 seemed almost like an April Fools Day Joke,I agree the Vendor talent is excellent compared to the "BIG 27" so far with 2 weeks to Fanfest.I have found a way to justify the other names as "LEGENDS" but Greg on this one its impossiable.I also buy Memorabilia and am frustrated we have 2 weeks until the show and still three names TBA.If the other three names or similar to the latest I cant justify driving nine hours for this years showin DC.I wish the show sucess but with Gas Prices of today its just not a good investment. Thanks for your time.. Part of this is going to be because I've had a terrible stomach virus for almost a week that I can't shake and most of the time can't seem to find the energy to hold my head up. The rest of it is coming from my heart. If the previously announced 26 names aren't ENOUGH to make you want to attend, you probably weren't. So rather than come on here and question someone's legitimacy as a legend in the sport (which speaks more for you than anything that you could ever write,) do something else with your time. And let the rest of us enjoy a truly remarkable weekend!

i can not believe what i just read. the mention of one guy will determine good enough reason to go or not given what has already been announced? i better just be quiet...

Yeah Exactly. If you don't a certain guest, then don't get his autograph. I met Larry at WrestleReunion 2. He was a nice guy. I wouldn't wanna meet Angela Mosca, just because I never saw him in action and didn't grow up watching him...but I wouldn't complain he is there.
I mean, DC Drake was at WrestleReunion II. Most people didn't know who he was and didn't care. I saw him when I was a kid and it was really cool to meet him cause he was a super nice guy and I had a great conversation with him. Different fans like different guys, plain and simple.

This is my first fanfest and even though I have never heard of a few of the legends it's still the experience of getting to know these guys for what they did to pave the way for the new generation of wrestling fans like myself. i'm 27 and never got the chance to see angelo mosca, rocky johnson, larry sharpe or billy graham do there thing in there prime but just to get the oppurtunity to meet and talk with them about the things they did will fully justify me driving 2 1/2 hours to this years fanfest and coming to charlotte in '07

hey greg:
i just want to thank you for all of your work in putting what will be a great fanfest. I know you can please all of the people, all of the time; but i am looking forward to the whole event. this is my 2nd fanfest; last year i went to my first one at wrestlereunion 2. I think this one would be just as good. for me its a chance to get away from the nagging wife for a weekend; get a hotel; meet friends; purchase wrestling items from vendors etc. I really want to thank you for your effort; and thanks for bringing it to my home town.
any chance of knowing when the final 3 will be honest?

Ugh. I'm with you Bobby. I can't believe some of the BS whining I am hearing here.
I am just sorry, Greg cant get Larry Sharpe to be part of an impromtu afternoon Legendsfest Q and A. Larry Sharpe and the Monster factory. He'd be a great guy, for anyone wanting to know more about the business and the life of a professional wrestler and their training to want to talk to. Geezooo!!! Wake Up!!!
Larry Sharpe has trained a good number of men and women superstars of wrestling... Bam Bam Bigelow is one that comes to mind right now. He also was a midcard talent for JCP back in the mid 70s. He was also used in the same role as Johnny Rodz, Dommick DeNucci and others as he was used as a judge of talent for incoming new wrestlers with the WWF and WWWF.
I tell you what. You fork over an extra $3000 plus air and expenses added to your ticket price to Greg and maybe he can book all three Dudley Boys for you so some of you wont feel so left out at FanFest.
Ugh. Enough. Dogs

I'm more than happy with the line-up. I wouldn't come 4000 miles specifically to get Larry Sharpe's auto - he's more just a name to me (unless you watched wrestling at BrunoGods house growing up), and I can see why he might seem like a filler name to some, but I said it even before the announcement of Billy Graham, the card is already full as far as I'm concerned....
And yeah - a Q&A with Larry would be neat. He's seen some stuff in his time, and we could all learn a thing or two about wrestling from him....

I think someone not caring to see Sharpe, is no different than you guys who wouldn't want a Nash or Luger at the event. But the thing is, the lineup is great enough already that I don't see how anyone can warrant complaining about the roster itself, and Abby is a good addition. This will be a great weekend. "You had me at Rock N Roll Express" Shannon to Greg Price.

If all of you really knew hard GP has worked on next week's FANFEST since last year, the people that have negative comments about the wrestling legends he has lined up so far, should be ashamed of themselves. He has busted butt to get this ready for everybody not just the wrestlers. He is doing something that he really enjoys because he is one of the biggest wrestling FANS himself. He likes meeting the guys just as much as you do. As some of you know he was in the audience just like the rest of us a few years back (me more than most of you). So keep the negative comments to yourself and just enjoy this years FANFEST. I know I will even though I have to work. From the little known to the big names, just enjoy meeting them. Some of them may not be here next year. In fact some of us may not be here next year. Look me up, if you do not know who I am, just ask someone, like NoodlePoodle she knows or Jimmy Kimmel.

Amen! I say quitcherbitchin! I'm very pleased with the lineup, and in addition to seeing the wrestlers, I can't wait to see all of my friends. I don't give a tinker's damn who the last 3 will be. I know they'll be good ones.
When you think of how many wrestlers we've lost in the last few years, one day there won't be any wrestlers left to do Fanfests.
So, thanks again, Greg, for your hard work in doing this for us, and me2u, looking foward to seeing you and your co-hort next week.
Peggy
