I see Larry Sharpe drew number 27 to this years Fanfest, and has been added to line up over at CapitolLegends.com....

I recognized the name and did a google search for Larry Sharpe and found some photos of him. But they didn't really jog my memory, anybody remember any memorable feuds or angles that jumpstart my memory on this guy?

larry sharpe has been a part of wrestling for YEARS. he has trained many people for YEARS. his contributions to the busines is WAY more than i bet you and i will ever give to it. don't be let down. i may not feel the like he is the "star name value quality" as it appears some may, but i can't deny the fact that he has made his mark in wrestling wheather i ever heard of him or not.

Larry Sharpe, while not a "legend" to some of you, has done a lot for the business. In addition to the plethora (word of the day) of wrestlers he has trained that have made a mark in the business, he has a great wrestling mind and is a genuinely nice guy.

Whether or not ANY other names are announced, this is going to be a great weekend, any other announcements are just going to be icing on the cake. Like I said before a lot of us bought our VIPs without a single name being announced, because we've been to previous Fanfests that Greg has run and each one gets better than the previous.

Let me just say I'm not at all saying that this man has not done alot for the sport. I'm just disappointed at the fact that i was hoping that the last 4 guys were going to be wrestlers i grew up watching not guys my dad grew up watching. At WR2 we got The Funks, The Dudley's , Bret Hart , Joey Styles , DC Drake , All Mixed in with Hansen, Bockwinkle, Bruno and Koloff i was just hoping for more of that mix. Just understand i was hoping for a Roddy Piper , Jake Roberts Guys with that kinda name as the last 4. To be honest with the exceptions of The Hart Foundation, Rick Martel, Sherri Martel, Bobby Heenan. Then vendor talent excites me more than the real talent. Sorry i don't mean to offend anyone its just how i feel

Greg I wanna say im not here to bash anyone. The announcement of #27 seemed almost like an April Fools Day Joke,I agree the Vendor talent is excellent compared to the "BIG 27" so far with 2 weeks to Fanfest.I have found a way to justify the other names as "LEGENDS" but Greg on this one its impossiable.I also buy Memorabilia and am frustrated we have 2 weeks until the show and still three names TBA.If the other three names or similar to the latest I cant justify driving nine hours for this years showin DC.I wish the show sucess but with Gas Prices of today its just not a good investment. Thanks for your time..
