Hooters is only 1/2 mile away!! Whoo hooters!! Hopefully no diva's read this board. lol. Dave and Busters at White Flint is pretty durn tasty. They have a nice food court there as well if memory serves me right. Wheaton Plaza is a mess though, so stear clear of that. The only other place I can think of is a Chic Fila in dowtown Silver Spring. Be careful though! I once got a parking ticket for being 5 inches into the road. That road is a mess, and very confusing. Bethesda is another great dining area. So many choices and the best video store (Hollywood Video, sorry to shill) with so much VHS, it'll make you feel like it's 1987 again.

They have Hooters in Vienna? That's annoying - they don't even have Hooters in Britain, actually I think there is ONE in Nottingham, and we have about 11 times the population of Austria.... F*****g Austria!! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/f'n%2C_Austria

Guys, far be it from me to tell you guys how to eat (and I definitely understand your point BRY about the chain restaurants,) but for me after spending a good part of the past few months in and around Rockville, I'll go to the chain restaurants just so I KNOW what I'm getting. I know we need diversity and I'm all for different types of food, but I just can't stomach some of this stuff. You should expect to find many different varieties of all kinds of Asian food. I've found that Rockville chinese isn't exactly the "Southern" brand of chinese I'm used to. I'm not into the squid, chicken feet, and slimey pirannha. Even the Japanese restaurants are very different. For me, I've found that I'm much better at Wendys, CiCis, or Ruby Tuesday, and I'll wait on my japanese fix until I get home. And, of course, you can't go wrong at Hooters. Totally agree w/you Greg. You start eating out at unknown places, where you dont know anything about them, what type of food they serve? you're asking for trouble. Bobby, they just opened a "Hooters Casino"here in Vegas, you should definately check that out. ;D
