It was rude and im sorry. I hope nothing for the best as it seems like a hard time for his family to be in. Apology accepted. Thanks. Thanks to everybody else for the support. A lot of people know that I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I could deal with one of these issues, but not all three at once. That seems a little too much, you know?

My thoughts are with you and your family, Blue Devil. I've watched several members of my family pass away from cancer, as well as degenerative neurological diseases, and words can't even come close to describing what that's like. They'll be bigger and better Fanfests in the future, and we'll all party like its 1985.... Also Brunogod is coming this year, so its not like you'll be missing much if you can't make it

So baseball is OK to miss the fam for though? umm.... ok....... The baseball game was planned well in advance and would only take me away for 3 hours, not the entire weekend. And, there could be an off-chance I might take my nephew to that, but we'll see. And, BTW, I find your comment rather insensitive considering the nature of the message. But, I come to expect that in the wrestling biz anyway. hey man! Sorry to hear you're not going to be there hangin with us @ FF. More sorry to hear about your Mom. Hope she gets through it all ok.

Thanks, everybody. I really appreciate the support. I found out yesterday that my grandmother, who is 91 and has Alzheimer's, wasn't doing as well as I was led to believe. It was a cover up to keep from upsetting my mom, who first told me she thought her mother was fine. My grandmother has fallen two or three times recently, and if you know about the elderly, falling and a simple thing such as breaking your hip can be life-threatening.
On the good side, my nephew received some good news the other day but he still has a ways to go and we still need the report back from his biopsy to find out more details about the immediate or not immediate necessary of a heart transplant. He'll still need one, just how soon.
He has asked his mom about going to a football game, NFL game, so we are looking into the preseason game the Friday of fanfest in Baltimore between the Ravens and NY Giants. That would mean a lot to him.

I have extensive experience working with alzheimer's patients. Many people don't realize that there is a lot more to it than a loss of short term memory. It is progressive, and as the years go by, the quality of life becomes less and less, and many times leads to the person being unable to do routine things like walking or talking. I wish your grandma the best.

Just dropping an update on this situation:
My nephew is scheduled to have a pacemaker put in Wednesday. This should help his current heart until he needs to get a transplant, when that might be who knows.

Well, as it turns out, I wasn't going to be able to come anyway. Due to being short-staffed at work and heading into high school football season with previews out the ..., I've been asked to push back my time off an extra week.
After the way this weekend has gone, I'll need that time off.

It is with a heavy heart that I report that my 15-year-old nephew died this morning of heart failure. Please keep my family in your prayers.
