I made my way from Columbus, Oh to Dayton yesterday to see my first live ROH show. I must say, it was pretty enjoyable. I got to see Christopher Daniels and Samoa Joe live for the first time. There was a big brawl between ROH wrestlers and (I guess) CZW wrestlers (I am not very familiar with CZW) to end the show
During intermission, Jim Cornette came out to sign autographs. It was great to meet him if only for a minute or so. I told him I would be seeing him again in August at fanfest and he commented that he was looking forward to being there.
The guy in front of me told Jim Cornette that he decided to come to his first ROH show, rather than watching Smackdown. Cornette seemed very excited by this and high fived the guy and yelled over to someone else that there was another "convert." ;D Funny stuff...
Now I just have to meet Stan Lane and I will be set....
