hi greg:
my name is richard slater; ( not dirty dick slater ha ha) i just wanted to give you thanks for putting together a great show so far. i've been a fan of pro wrestling since 1983. and this is my 2nd fan fest. i 've got my first taste of it last year in king of prussia, pa. i just wanted to thank you for bringing the fan fest to baltimore/d.c. i live in baltimore, and when it comes to autograph sessions; this area gets no love. wwe was in town last no mercy pay per view and to my surpirse not a lot of sessions. so thanks for brning it home. beleive it or not i live in baltimore but i will be staying at the doubletree inn for the weekend (gives me a mini vacation from the wife). i've purchase my vip pass and looking forward to it. just have a few questions:
1- when we are going thru the line for autographs, i understand we can take a picture w the wrestler, but is it ok to take a picture of the wrestler autographing our merchandise?
2-will there be any wrestling events at the the fanfest.
3- will there be any nwa tna wrestler's old or new.
4-any chances of getting barry windham, mike rotunda, tully blanchard or ole anderson?
5- will there be a lot of vendors there to sell merchandise ie rf view, highspot etc.
thanks again.

hey richard. i gotta say it's a smart move to have gotten the room at the doubltre. really, it may cost a bit, but the fun seems to never end. i guarantee you, you will have more of a good time meeting other folks from this and other boards, shooting the breeze, and recalling the past with each other than anything. the comraderie we have amongst fellow posters here is great. i personally have met a bunch off these boards and consider them very good friends. be hoping to hook up with you come august.
as for your questions, unless something has changed: no live event and greg hasn't allowed photos to be taken on the autograph stage in the past. usually, there are plenty of other times, scheduled as part of the show, and otherwise.

Bobby and Michael beat me to a couple of your questions, so I'll take the rest. I'm unsure about TNA talent. I'd expect you may see some there, but I was told awhile back (like several months ago,) that TNA had an overseas tour that weekend so..... In the past, I think we've had a good number of exhibitors. The folks here on the boards could probably give you a better idea of what to expect. We have added the names of exhibitors that have confirmed thus far to our website, under the Exhibitor Info link. Don't sweat the low number, though, because I've learned from past fanfests that GP's not the only one to wait til the last minute..... I don't think either of the four guys you mentioned will be in DC, although that could change. Thanks for the questions. Sorry it took me a little longer than usual to respond. I look forward to meeting you in August, Richard. You'll have a blast being at the hotel all weekend. As Bobby and others can attest, even when fanfest is over at the end of the day, the day NEVER ends for some of these guys. I've wandered through the lobby at 3 or 4 in the morning and caught Bobby and friends out and about. At fanfest, some of us NEVER sleep!

Man,the more I hear about the trip to MD, for the fest, the more I want to go. It's a little late for me to collect autographs but Just to chat for a second would be awesome. I've met only a few, like three, but I am a huge legend fan. It's a definite road trip, but I think I could handle it. Don't be mad, I may be on wrong thread. My bad.
