Tony Atlas Baby Doll All THREE Midnight Express w/Cornette Stan Hansen Bret Hart Bobby Hennan Ivan Koloff Jerry Lawler Masked Superstar Dusty Rhodes Rockin Robin
Any thoughts? Only 3 out of the 15 hasnt been to a FanFest event before. I sure thought we'd see more WWF talent considering the location but I suppose the final 10 could be new.

So far i am kinda disappointed, i have been to all the fanfest's so far, and i can only get so many things signed by dusty rhodes and midnight xpress, and so on, i was so hoping this was really going to be something different. Dont know if they are going to announce bruno, and piper who i saw that one day they had the site go up, but bruno would make me go, but so far i still havent decided if im going to make the trip or not. I have always been so excited about these gatherings, and now for the first time, im really not.
I just hope we get some new people.
If not we can always hope for 2007 back in N.C.

well, i see and hear a lot of folks say things like that. and i completely understand. but do we really think that these events are made just for us that travel to each one? i mean, they are usually held in different places from tiem to time. i know that greg realizes that many of us will go to this show as we have gone to the rest he promoted. but, the difference in the cities is not made for me, but for the local crowd in that area. and then i choose to travel to the show or not. the show is designed for the locals first, the rest of us latter. i could go the rest of my life and never see dusty rhodes ever again. but, i realize that at every show, there is that crowd that has never seen him live, or met him. and here is here chance. i can't take that chance away from them if it were up to me. and i can understand why greg and others still bring him in....when they do.

I agree. You have to take into account that the DC area is likely going to account for 75% of the attendance at an event like this, and who are we to say "oh you shouldn't have dusty or the midnight express because I met him at another fanfest." For the most part, I think the people on this board attend these things for the atmosphere and the nostalgia, regardless of mow many dusty 8x10's you already have. As for me, I'll simply pick up new photo and bring along his new action figure that wwe is putting out in april. Plus, I can think of at least half a dozen things I wish I'd have brought for bret to sign last august. point being....i'll be there.

I, for one, have never been to a fanfest before and it looks like my friend and I will be going to this one. I met Bobby and Dennis when they were in the Pittsburgh, PA area for an IWC show. I have never met Stan or Jim Cornette.
Jerry Lawler vs. Dusty Rhodes was the main event at another IWC show I went to, so I have met them both, but I am always up for meeting them again
I am really excited about the idea of meeting Bobby Heenan. I have been wanting to have him sign both his books.
I have never come close to meeting Bret Hart. The idea does not thrill me. I have never been a huge Bret Hart fan.
My friend who is coming with me is a huge Magnum T.A. fan. I am really hoping that Magum will be there since I know my friend would just love it.
Based on nothing more than the stories I read, I hope someone brings Ivory, Molly Holly, and Tammy Sytch back so I can get the chance to meet them as well.
Has Arn Anderson been back to the shows since the first one?

C'mon guys, we're more than 5 months away from fanfest weekend and some of you seem to want to poo-poo on the lineup already. In total, there will be 30 wrestling legends in Rockville and I think the split will be pretty well even between NWA, WWF and AWA legends. Please, at least, give me a chance to announce all the featured guests before passing judgment. Thanks, Greg

I was going to say the same thing a couple of hours ago that you said H.H. Well said. Months away and you already have people complaining. People get real. If any of you think you could top the event, please try. I have some gamble in me and I am willing to bet no one could come close. Any takers? Maybe some folks like to post just to get a response. Bring it!

My thoughts exactly Greg. People complain for no reason.

I hope my comments weren't taken as complaining. I am very happy with the line-up so far As I said above, I have never been to a fanfest before, but will be making the trip for this one. As far as I am concerned, you can never meet the Midnight Express too many times. I didn't realize until today that this fanfest was going to cover the AWA as well (if only Curt Hennig was still with us ) I am continuing to hope that Magnum, TA, Mike Rotundo, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, and Jake "The Snake" Roberts will make the list I will be checking back to see the other names get announced. Unless I am mistaken, Bruno has an exclusive deal with Sal Corente.
Greg, you should know by now that I always whine about the lineup at first, only to set up as a vendor, make thousands of dollars and go home the happiest man on the planet. It's just what I do! =)
