Just a heads up that www.CapitolLegends.com has opened. Among other things, tickets are on sale now for next year's Capitol Wrestling Legends Fanfest in Rockville, Maryland and there is a collection of photos from previous fanfests, including the most recent Charlotte fanfest weekend.

Ok, if you can get on an Amtrak train, you can come to this. I'm saying that because I live in Northern, VA. You guys could not have picked a more convenient hotel for this!
Everyone (who'd be taking Amtrak) take a train into Washington DC Union Station. From here go downstairs to the Metro. Get on the Red Line Train (it's the only one that runs downstairs) to Shady Grove and then get off at Twin Brook. The hotel is RIGHT ACROSS the street - literally.
If you are flying into the area, make sure you're flying into DCA. From there you'd get on the Blue Line to Addison Road. Transfer to the Red Line at Metro Center (go upstairs) and take the Shady Grove Train to Twin Brook.
If you can't get rooms at DT, there are other places in DC/Northern VA. But make sure they are near a Metro station.
If you have q's, let me know! See you there!!!!!

Jayda, I must not live far from you in No. Va. and I hope everyone takes your advice. The few bucks you might save by flying into Dulles would be better spent (especially on a Friday afternoon) flying into DCA and using mass transit. If folks are driving it's better to do it in the middle of the day so as not to get caught in a Beltway jam which can start early Firday afternoon.

I have to concur. Once Greg told me it was linked off a Metro Station that was it. If you go to Greg's event, which I would suggest doing because he does a great job, take the Metro.

When will we hear some more information about this show? I am interested in going. Keep in mind it is still waaaaaaay early. While I do very much appreciate your interest, it's still a little early to begin announcing a talent lineup. Some announcements should begin being made after the first of the year -- probably around February, that's still 6 months before the event. I do have one name that I may announce sooner. Thanks for your interest in fanfest weekend!

FYI, looking ahead, for those interested in other activities before or after Fanfest, the Washington Nationals' baseball team has its tentative schedule online with games against Florida (Aug. 8-10), N.Y. Mets (Aug. 11-13) and Atlanta (Aug. 14-17) at RFK Stadium. So if you're looking for a baseball game to go to, there you go.
