"WE WANT FLAIR!" "WE WANT FLAIR!" The RnR wrestled themselves...well not really. (KM classic question)Better?!!: Lugar-Windham or Brock-Goldberg ;D ;D ;D C'mon Arn, what happened??? "We Want Old Nikita!" We Want Old Nikita!"
Pure ramble. Bad day for WCW. Share your thoughts.

What a horrible show!
Eaton-Taylor-Austin, 3 great talents, wasted in the worst match of the year.
There were 3 or 4 ok to decent bouts on the show, with none being nearly good enought to save the rotten show

i'll put it to ya this way....i had more fun running around the OMNI hotel the night before with john mcadam, wade keller, and some other guys making prank phone calls to jim herd at 1am, than i did at the show.

The best part of the show was the Sting vs. Nikita Koloff Russian Chain Match. The Luger vs. Windham world title match did not come close to their battle for the United States Title at Chi Town Rumble '89. The world title match was saved by the entrance of Harley Race and Mr. Hughes. All in all Bash '91 was a mediocre ppv.

in their defence though, i don't think luger or windham could have had a decent match IF they wanted to. i mean, nobody wanted to see them against each other for the title. and they knew it. everybody was chanting "we want flair". they heard it. and they and all the crowd knew that no matter who was going to win, they would not get any respect for being the champ because whoever the winner would be, would not be looked upon as champ without beating flair for the belt.

Can someone tell me what substitute belt that was? I'm thinking the Western States Heritage Title, but I haven't watched Bash '91 in a few months. Not sure. The scaffold match was on the p.p.v., but not the Turner release. If my memory stands correct, it was a flag-scaffold match....no one fell .

I think this was the worst PPV of all time! I mean scafold match where no one falls? Whats the point?

The worst ppv of all time was Bash at the Beach '99. GAB '91 was not stellar but still light years ahead of BATB '99.

I think this was the worst PPV of all time! I mean scafold match where no one falls? Whats the point? Then after almost a decade you would think that one of the creative team members would be a nostalgia buff(SC 86) and pledge to never let something awful like that happen again. And then there was Fall Brawl 2000. The worst scaffold match in PRO WRESTLING HISTORY. Hulk Hands dizzown.

Ahhh... The Great American Bash 1991..... a truly horrible display of how to ruin a perfectly good PPV. The best way to handle the main event would have been to let Luger FINALLY win the title from Flair; instead of thinking of the fans and the storyline itself, they "manufacture" Windham as the top contender. It was disappointing, because Lex and Barry could have made the match great, but Jim Herd was at fault for forcing Flair's hand, causing him to walk out. The best match was Sting/Nikita, and the rest was not remarkable. I'll agree...... The whole thing that sums it up...."WE Want Flair !!"

Im still trying to forget PN News - he still wrestles over here in England for All Star Wrestling
I really would have loved to seen Windham beat Luger though
