I agree with mikefever05.
I enjoyed BOTH versions of the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS.
Condrey and Lane both brought great things to the team.
But credit should be given to Bobby as he was able to blend his abilities with both men to make the team run, irregardless who his partner was.
(even The Blue Bloods).

stan lane and bobby eaton were the best midnight express. i personally saw them in great matches against the road warriors, tully and arn, and some less impressive matches against the sst

To me it's hard to compare the two because the dynamics of the team changed.
Bobby and Dennis were much more gritty at the heel aspect and could get the white heat. Bobby and Stan, although still good as a heel team, had much more flair and showmanship which i think took some of the heel edge off the team. On the flip side, it did make them more versitile and easier to sell as a babyface team.
I often imagine how Dr. Tom Prichard (Cornette's original replacement for Condrey) would have done. I think he would have fit more into the mold of Condrey's style.
