From prowrestling.com:
WWE has hired Tully Blanchard in an agent/producer role.

/falling over ...... I'm shocked and somewhat skeptical knowing the Vince's reputation, but happy to hear the news
I hope this works out for Tully. He deserves it.

So Jimmy Garvin is out, and Tully takes his spot??
What's next? Jimmy Valiant and Paul Jones fight it out in a hair vs hair rematch, 20 years on, with the winner getting a place on the Smackdown writing team??
All they need now is Ole and we have a backstage horseman reunion (although that one might not happen anytime soon)....
One thing is for sure: with names like Dibiase, Rhodes, Steamboat, Arn, Tully, Steve Keirn, Michael Hayes etc working for Vince in agent or writing roles, I'm a lot more interested in WWE's backstage talent than their on-air talent!!

Not that he necessarily wants to keep them away from fanfest, but ALL legends-related events. With their recent success in marketing legends memorabilia (dvds, shirts, action figures, etc.) and even WWE 24/7, maybe they've realized theres a whole different audience out there.

Greg, you took the words right out of my mouth. My biggest fear is that Vince's ego is in control, and he would rather tear people down over time than use thier abilities to further improve his company.

Since they are playing up on Flair's legendary friends with recent appearances by Rhodes, Piper, Money Inc., and Arn; maybe they could involve a horsemen reunion with Flair, Arn, and Tully. Flair did mention the Horsemen on last night's Raw.

Well, I guess I'll have to break down and actually watch Raw next Monday because I'll bet we'll see Tully walk down that ramp at some point.

A reunion of the Four Horsemen? What's next? WWE trying to bring back Starrcade?

A reunion of the Four Horsemen? What's next? WWE trying to bring back Starrcade? Goodness - can you imagine ECW Starrcade in a half-empty Greensboro Coliseum?? Main event is Hogan, Vince & Big Show vs Ric Flair in a Handicap Bra & Panties Thumbtack match for the ''ECW title''. They deliberately don't promote the show, and use its failure to highlight Vince's dream that Starrcade and Mid Atlantic Wrestling history never meant anything.

The sad thing is that I can see that happening. WWE does not even use the 22,000 seat Greensboro Coliseum for its' house shows, but the 2000 seat auditorium connected to the coliseum, I think.
