I am just curious as to where the man that I like to refer to as the original Rock LOL Rocky King is now he was fun to hang out with after W.C.W. shows. I helped him and Pez break down the ring many a time they were both great guys

Pez Whatley took down the ring? No wonder he turned bad. He was one of my favorites from the Johnson City area. To me he was a star. I can't imagine them making him take the ring down.

Yeah I know it is hard to believe that Pez was taking down the rings. Rocky actually was bald no more fro. Pez was a great guy to talk to. In fact after one house show Goldberg was on it and actually had a match against Bobby Eaton. It wasn't a total squash either. Goldber went over but this was before he started the undefeated streak on Nitro. He asked Pez how the match looked and for pointers. Pez was also a trainer at the Power Plant. I have a very fond memory of breaking down the three rings after World War III and going to the hotel afterwards and partying hard with Pez and Rocky and a host of others.

Did Pez and Savage ever associate together? They were a team back in Angelo's organization, ICW. They worked great together. Pez was one of my earliest heroes next to Ron Garvin and Jos Leduc.

I did not even know that about Pez and Savage. No I never saw them together though. Shoot Savage breaking down rings yeah right. Pez was real cool. Our payment for helping was bruises and t-shirts. LOL

Rocky still lives and works in the Atlanta area. I had a meeting with him about a year ago regarding a wrestling charity fundraiser he was working on. He has his own wrestling company, Boulware Enterprises. You can check it out at www.wwa4.com/generic75.htmlVery nice guy, and had more wrestling stories than you can imagine!

I saw Rocky King one night in Columbus , Ga. beat the crap out of the Italian Stallion after the "Stallion" made a racial slur towards him. Rocky is fun loving and cool. I had many good matches with him.
