The point of this exercise is to show how Flair's career mirrors the vast changes in the world of pro wrestling. So many of the guys who worked the smaller shows of the 70's did not last into the PPV area. From small towns to big cities to literally all over the world, he has done it all.

Charlotte and Greensboro NC for me. I don't think any of the times I saw something televised live from Atlanta that he was there.

Richmond Coliseum (too many times to mention individually) when Crockett ran here regularly, plus once with WWF vs. Hogan, and various Nitro and Thunder tapings (including the night Russo shaved his head).
I did catch him one time vs Curt Hennig at UVA University Hall in March 1998.

I saw the champ wrestle many times in Pittsburgh, PA. One of my favorites was against Ron Garvin about 2 weeks or so before Ronnie won the title.

1970's Ric Flair & Greg Valentine Tag Teaming in Myrtle Beach - Flair used to drive an old Camero or Trans Am and always went to the Electric Circus dance club after the shows, usually with Ricky Steamboat.
1970's Ric Flair Vs Greg Valentine with a Broken Nose - Old US (MAP) Belt
1979 Ric Flair & Sweet Ebony Diamond (Rocky Johnson) Vs Greg Valentine & The Masked Supstar in Myrtle Beach - After the match a real fight breaks out in the Dressing Room and 2 go to the ER and 1 went to JAIL
All through out the 80's in Myrtle Beach, Conway and Columbia
1989 - BEST MATCH I ever saw Ric in LIVE was at the Norfolk Scope vs Terry Funk No DQ / Falls count anywhere / Best 2 out of 3 Falls This was a Bloody Brawl to the end. I mean these two put on one helluva show.
NOT WRESTLING - Dance Clubs after shows / Hotel Bars after Shows There was one show (WCW Thunder) In Charleston in 1998-1999 - The main event was Flair vs Benoit. We had been there all day and we left for the hotel while the match was still going on. The Hotel (N Charleston Sheraton) was only 8 miles away but we wanted to beat the traffic. We pull in,. park and go into the bar and THERE IS RIC FLAIR at the BAR in his Wrestling Gear (Shorts, Pads and Shoes) with a T-SHirt on. HOW DID HE BEAT US THERE? HE WAS STILL IN THE RING at the arena. On a side note - that was the same night that Chris Benoit (Photo to the left) fell out of my jeep drunk at the Waffle House. Did he break his tooth there? One will never tell! Thanks to Curt Henning for pushing him out! R. I. P.

I've seen Flair twice.
Once in 1984 in Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling (at the Cocagne Arena, Cocagne, NB Canada) wrestled "Big" Stephen Petitpas (aka Sheik Ali).
and then in 1992 at the Moncton Coliseum (Moncton, NB Canada) against Roddy Piper
