I know I'm in the minority, but I can't say yea. Only because I've already met Jake enough times. Personally, I would rather Jake's asking price be spent on other talents that I've never met.
However, I hope that each of you (who want to) get to meet Jake as he is quite a character.

Obviously those who say "yea" have never been a promoter hijacked by the mental case cuz he cannot keep his life straight enough without being desperate for money. I agree with the other poster, his fee would be better spent elsewhere.
The Snake is a perfect nickname for him. He's just bad business.

Hate to agree with jumpingjimmy, but the risk of having roberts on a show I think is too great. You never know which Jake Roberts is gonna show up. If I were organizing a fan fest, which is something I'd gladly leave to Greg , I'd think Jake would be more trouble than he is worth. I personally know several promoters who have tried to bring in Jake Roberts, and what Marvin Ward was talking about on another thread is about the same thing they ran into. Who needs that crap when you've got everything else in the world to worry about. From a novelty aspect, yeah it would be cool to have him there, but I'd rather see a solid fanfest with guys like Poffo, Bundy, Condrey, Eaton and Cornette -- all of whom are fantastic guys, good to the fans, and just a heck of a lot of fun to have around. Then bring in one guy who is such a loose cannon and could really be a problem child for the whole weekend. Dogs |

I say Nay cause when i met him this past weekend he was so rude. You could tell that he did not want to sign for anyone at all.
