Christmas Night 1978 Charlotte NC US TITLE CAGE MATCH Ric Flair D Blackjack Mulligan Paul Jones D Ricky Steamboat MID ATL TITLE Johnny Weaver D Ken Patera DQ Jay Youngblood & Skip Young D Brute Bernard & Sgt Goulet Mr X #1 D Gary Young Don Kernodle D David Patterson Frank Monte D Joe Furr Klondike Bill D Charlie Fulton This show was a legit sell out, the first for Charlotte since 1963 with The Bolos. As far as the initial question is concerned. Draws in the 1970's based on Greensboro mainly, anything between 1976-78 drew well, for the majority. There's a reason Scott and Crockett started pushing Flair as the JCP star in regards to the NWA title.
