I REMEMBER THE GREAT FEUD WITH THE MIGHTY IGOR. THE CIGAR TO THE EYE I THINK IT WAS. THAT PARTICULAR ANGLE REALLY PUT YOU OVER AS A KILLER HEEL IN MY BOOK. ALSO THE WAHOO FEUD WHERE WAHOO STATED HE WOULD UNMASK YOU OR THROW OUT SOME UNGODLY AMOUNT OF MONEY TO THE CROWD. GREAT FEUD!

Has to be Superstar! Should have been the transitional champion between Backlund and Hogan. Besides, he was THE ONLY Superstar in WWF, how many different Demolitions and Machines were there...too many to count.

at the last one, he signed my photo of Ax as "Ax" even though he was the Superstar, which I appreciated

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Eadie in MARTINSBURG,WEST VIRGINIA a few years back and it was a big thrill! He was super nice to chat with and ,as DEMOLITION AX against NIKOLAI VOLKOFF,PUT ON A GREAT MATCH! I would like to see him as MASKED SUPERSTAR since i haven't been fortunate enough to see him as that persona in person!

Just a quick reply to the fans that have asked about signing either persona. Yes, of course I will. I appreciate all the kind words and I will certainly look forward to meeting and speaking with all of you.
As to the my persoanl favorite persona: it is difficult. I had good times as both. I enjoyed more personal freedom as The Superstar with the idenity issue and I always felt that was very important especially when it came to time out in public with my family. I would always see the other guy's not being able to spent time alone with their family and I cherised that.
The Ax image was good to me as well. It is surprising how much facial feature was conncealed by that thin layer of paint. I found that when Barry and I would travel with Fuji that we were recognized more than usual. So both characters had their good points.
Just some info to question I had gotten very often.
Looking over the voting and reading the comments is very interesting. Thanks for the support either way you decide!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question earlier.
I must say I really liked you when I was in GA during the early 80's, growing up - you were a guilty please of mine, being a heel that is. There was just something about you that meant SERIOUS to me. You always seemed to take wrestling and your opponents serious - which I really liked...nothing flashy just good ole fashion butt kicking!!
thanks for many many good times!!!

right. which is why i liked ole anderson and the masked superstar so much, they portrayed the most serious personas of all the wrestlers i saw, when i was younger. you knew they meant business without the flash, they were just business.

My vote is for the Superstar! Mr. Eadie was great in each of the personas, but Superstar was the best and most believable, although in fairness, I never got to see the Mongols.
Thank you so much for posting here, Mr. Eadie.

Hi voted for Ax. The Masked Superstar is more MACW, AX is WWF. But no matter who shows up, the fans are in for a treat. Bill's always a class act.

Absolutely without a doubt 10000% sure AX. Demolition was one of the tag teams I will NEVER forget. They had the bad ass music and get up and the face paint that just made me love them as a child. I for one can't wait to see Bill and get his autograph! I wish Smash was coming as well, that would be a dream!!!

I vote Ax, I have a lot of Superstar autographs, as I have attended every fanfest. It would be cool to have an Ax autograph. Thanks for being on this site Mr. Eadie, I was a HUGE Masked Superstar and Ax mark. Not was, I still am! Looking forward to meeting you again. You can get him to sign as either one depending on the item he's signing, regardless of what character he's playing. At WR2 I got him to sign a magazine and trading card as Demolition Ax. He's pretty awesome. I say let him show up as each one on different days. Probably the best thing to do.

I had the opportunity to see the Legendary Superstar in Shelby,NC at the 1st Anderson brothers show. He wrestled 3 times that night and was great. I remember him in GA battling Rich, Wrestling 2, and Big Bad Leroy Brown. In my eyes he has always been The Best Their Is,The Best Their Was,And The Best That Ever Will Be. I vote For The Superstar.
