AWA DVD Thoughts...

Wow , this was just a great DVD! It's amazing looking back at all the stars that went through the AWA at one time or another. The two things that struck me were you could tell by the Hogan footage from promos and the crowd responses that he was going to change the sport and become the face of wrestling. I also picked up on how great Curt Henning was and I never even saw him until the WWF run , but he had "it" in the AWA and I am now surprised looking back that he never became a bigger star.

I completely agree on Hennig, I have some footage on tape of Curt in the AWA, and from that footage, I always thought he would've become one of the top stars in wrestling. He did pretty well for himself anyways, but I definitely thought he would've been a bigger star than he was.
