Well , if you ever sat on the fence and wondered if fanfest was a good deal here's something to think about. This year Barbara Streisand is offering meet and greets before her concerts for $50,000. I would say considering all the wrestlers you can meet and photo opps available that fanfest would be the better option...

goes to show that she doesn't care about her fans. all she cares about is the fans with tons of money, like the politicians she runs around with. and i bet those "fans" only care about her as long as she supports their own self serving causes.

Yeah, I would say Fanfest is a much better deal. Although, I am guessing part of the $50,000 you would pay, Steisand turns around and donates a chunk of it to her leftist liberal causes anyway.

you'd have to pay ME to meet Barbara Exactly - if I wanted to spend an evening with an overweight 60-year-old Jew then I'd just go to my Mother's for dinner!! Goddamn Jewish Liberal New York fa.....etc But seriously - I HATE it when these 'celebrities' get involved with politics and socio-political issues, like its some giant photo op....and think: why is it always the untalented 'entertainers' that get high profile coverage of their socio-political 'convictions'? Mel Gibson - a drunk, untalented anti-Semite, responsible for THE WORST movies in history....becomes a hero for the religious right for making YET ANOTHER OVERLY VIOLENT TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE FILM!! There is no way Riggs come back from some of those beatings, certainly not in Aramaic....you know, if your worldview has become so unrealistic, elitist & UNSUSTAINABLE that you need to pervert the bible in order to dignify your worldview then....I hope the man is able to resolve some of his mental issues....(and this goes for his little scumbag shiller Bill O'Reilly as well: www.oreilly-sucks.com/)Arnold Schwarznegger - 'girly man' himself....this steroid freak with a small penis and brain to match....of all stars of lame 80's action movies this guy is the second-last (behind Hogan) person you'd like to see get involved with politics....he becomes the Governor of California. Ok-ay.... and then there's the Streisand arc....Bono, the guy from Coldplay, about half of Hollywood....all talking about lame 'leftist' politics, coming out of their mansions and private jets and telling us how to live our lives, knowing that the elite corperate media will pick up on the outrage and 'controversy'.... I doubt any of the above could offer one rebuttal if you questioned any of the holes in their vague faux-populist politics (i.e 'Barbara Streisand wants to save the children!! - lets buy her record') At this stage of the game....if you're a multi-millionaire, and you wanna feed the hungry etc then its a little contradictory when you fly around in between your three homes in a private jet wearing designer sunglasses.... Bill Hicks is rolling in his grave.... rant over....

I think it boils down to this simple equation:
$150 - Fanfest VIP ticket: you get to spend three days with your favourite wrestling legends as well as brothers Yates, Bradshaw & Steward etc
vs
$50000 - an evening with Barbara Streisand....
I'll take Fanfest and spend the remaining $49850 on wrestling DVDs....

And just to give myself a cheap pop on the NWA board, I'm from New York, but I'm a Republican... go figure!
