With nothing on my agenda tonight, I actually turned on Monday Night Raw. Low and behold, the wrestling gods ribbed, as the power in the arena went out.
No music, no pyro, no sound, no projection screen. The fans stood there like deer in headlights. You could hear a pin drop.
Case and point.....Try enhancing your in ring product, becasue THAT is what should matter. Becasue as it was proven tonight on live national television, when you take away the bells and whistles, the WWE doesn't have a leg to stand on.

I caught a bit of this. I didn't see the lights go out, but I know they did. That said, IIRC, John Cena did a nice job of improving on the situation when the lights came back on. I have to give him props for that.
But, I do agree, in theory, with your point.

You know - for a few minutes there the lighting made it look like you were watching something taped from the Mid South Coliseum in 1983. Alas - the quality of the wrestling did not....
