Hi SSteward! I do remember that angle. Working for Watts was alright, damn road trips tho. Back then, we would work Oklahoma, East Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Trips were just long and the roads back then were terrible. But, I was doing what I loved, was a lot younger ( ) and having the time of my life. I wouldn't change a thing! SOH.

It is an honor to hear from the great one Sir Oliver Humperdink. Hope to hear from ya often. Keep cool. Saw ya on tv never live. Didn't you manage One Man Gang in MACW? He lost a bit of weight last time I saw him in WCW during his US title run. Tall and like a rail. You had some great fights with the Boogie Man. Hope you are doing well

I talk to him from time to time and it's always a pleasure. I see Boogie at least once a year at CAC. Another great guy. Thanks for the note! SOH.

Made it home safe and sound! Bobby, thanks for the pleasure of your company over the weekend. Always good to see you! Had a wonderful lunch with StingFan (aka The Big Goof ;D ), Bobby, Gary Hart and a friend of theirs ( am horrible with names, please excuse ). Good food and good company! That's what life is all about. My thanks to all who attended what I think was the best Fanfest to date. Greg Price sure knows how to treat the fans and the talent to a unforgetable weekend. Hope to see you all next time around! Till then, SOH.

Made it home safe and sound! SOH. Sir Oliver! Always glad to see you, looking good as ever! I'm always amazed that you can remember us fans, even if you've only met us once or twice and perhaps exchange a few messages on here and perhaps on CACF.... Hope to see you again in Vegas! Stay well and happy! Fred, Atlanta...

Hi Fred! Was good to see you last weekend! If you guys are good enough to remember me, I also should remember you when we meet. It is always a pleasure to hang out with the fans that I have known for years, and the ones I have recently met. I hope Greg schedules the next Fanfest in Rockville on a "non competing" weekend, as CAC is in June next year also. I hope to see you at one or both! "See" you on the boards till then, SOH.

Sorry about wrong info above regarding "competing" dates. Fanfest in Rockville will take place in August and not June. Mea culpa. SOH.

Well Mr. Humperdink, I have recently discovered your love for the blues and jazz, so heres a question for you, in your opinion who are the most under rated blues men?

Hi Jim! In no particular order, David Honeyboy Edwards, Charles Brown, Robert Jr. Lockwood, and Mississippi Fred McDowell would come to mind as among the guys most casual fans have never heard of. They all were/are very important members of the blues genre. McDowell, Howlin Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters and Son House for example, were "discovered" by the Brits in the late fifties, early 60's and influenced guys like Clapton and Richards/Jagger, etc. Those guys ignited an interest in the American fans for the blues, who then rediscovered this truely American art form. It is also the root of other American music. I think it was Muddy Waters who said "The blues had a baby and they called it Rock and Roll". Don't start me to talkin! :-) SOH.

phinney! My man! The Blues Brothers are ok, but a little too "homogenized" for me. Hope you are having a great summer! SOH.
