Actually, I thought Raw was pretty decent last night (compared to the last few.) The opening was pretty funny at the very least, I thought. Then again, if ya'll are old school DX then I would wager it's nothing to what it once was. Having not been watching when it happened. I cant' compare the two. I still wouldn't call myself a fan of WWE (and certainly am the furthest thing from a Vince fan), but I think with some things lately the show is getting more interesting in a better way. The ECW thing is sucking pretty hardcore right now, but perhaps they'll work through that. I've given totally up of ever witnessing something truly old school that has the VKM tag on it. I just watch what's there and enjoy those few moments of greatness that does happen from time to time.

Well I have another week of "ECW" programming to ponder about, and I must say that last night's show showed some improvement. Was it good, no far from it but it was better than the premier edition that's for sure. Sabu vs Tony Mamaluke wasn't bad, wish they could've had a little more time and scrapped a few minutes from the main event tag match, but what do you expect. So that's another element that Vince is missing about ECW. When ECW was strong people came to see ECW and not just RVD, Taz, Sabu, etc. Fans cared about the under or midcard guys. You were thrilled to see Guido, Doring, Roadkill. That's why developing those guys just by letting them have a little time and good matches is important. Sandman caning "Macho" Libre was fun and enjoyable. Hard to believe that was Tony DeVito who used to be with Da Baldies, he looked rough. Big Show and Dreamer is trying to establish Show as a monster and Dreamer as the Never Say Die ECW lives babyface, mission accomplished I guess. The Kelly the exhibitionist thing is kind of stupid, but if you're gonna have the T & A you might as well have the hottest chick in wrestling doing it. The main event was very WWE but watchable. I find it funny that Randy Orton hurt his shoulder/wrist while working the leg of Kurt Angle, I think that says a lot. All in all I enjoyed the show a little bit, especially when you compare it to the "Raw is Man As*" from Monday. I'd love to hear anbody else's thoughts about the show from last night, sorry this is so long again.

hey chris, i saw the first match and the kelley girls first appreareance. the first match was pretty good. after about 10 minutes, the constant references to RAW/SMACKDOWN talent and shows was very annoying. ECW can't make it if they keep trying to measure it up to the other shows. it needs to be promoted as itself, not another version of WWE programming.

Hey Bobby good to hear from you, hope your doing well. But I totally agree with you on that, it has to be an alternative product which so far its not.

I keep "hearing" that it's going to move in a more separate direction soon. I agree, last weeks show was WAY better than the previous one. The crowd at least seemed a little more into it, and it didn't fall flat. That Kelly girl is super hot, and it is finally taking some direction, but the whole dance thing was still too long. I mean, if we were going to actually see here naked, by all means take as much time, but since we aren't, a couple shimmies and a shake should be sufficient to make the point. Once they "break away" from Raw/WWE and hopefully have their own shows with their own audience, maybe it can stand a chance. I understand ratings were still pretty good. Curious to see this weeks episode.
