Just found out that Darren McGavin passed away. Most everyone should remember him as the dad on A Christmas Story. It has been a tradition of mine since the movie opened in the theaters to watch it at least once during the Christmas season. Another comedic great gone.  |

I loved him in A Christmas Story and Kolchak and everything else I saw him in. A truly great talent.

Sorry, I should've given this mentioning yesterday, too. It moved across AP around 11 o'clock or so. Have to watch A Christmas Story this Thanksgiving.
