Some talent that I'd love to see at the 2007 show off the top of my head. Many would probably not be feasible, but I'd enjoy meeting them...
Ted DiBiase Rick Steamboat Arn Anderson George Steele One Man Gang Road Warrior Animal Paul Ellering Don Muraco Jimmy Hart Vader Barry Windham Mike Rotunda Bam Bam Bigelow J.J. Dillon Tully Blanchard Rick Steiner Roddy Piper Michael Hayes Bob Orton Jr. Randy Savage Honky Tonk Man Jesse Ventura Ken Patera Haku Butch Reed Warlord Barbarian Pedro Morales Sid Typhoon Mr. Fuji Iron Sheik (see below for good Q&A session - "Sheik & Blair's 'Humble' Opinions") Brian Blair Jim Brunzell Butch Reed Ron Simmons Slick Johnny Valiant Baron Von Raschke Greg Gagne Vern Gagne Ronnie Garvin Buddy Rose Marty Jannetty Scott Hall Kevin Sullivan Ron Bass Nikita Koloff Barry Darsow Jimmy Garvin Bob Backlund Blackjack Mulligan Blackjack Lanza Ivan Putski Killer Kowalski Tommy Young Dangerous Danny Davis
And Not Virgil...

The most requested names I see are: Roddy Piper, Jake Roberts, Blackjack Mulligan but I hear there are issues with expense, reliability, or they just are not sure they want to do these shows with them. Superstar Graham would be good if his no-show in DC is not an issue. Some others are still in or tied to WWE as far as I know and that may be an issue with some: Ted DiBiase, Michael Hayes, Ric Flair, Steve Austin (plus I'm sure those last 2 are very expensive). Several possibilities from other lists that have been posted: Road Warrior Animal Paul Ellering Don Muraco Jimmy Hart Vader Ernie Ladd Rocky Johnson Bobby Heenan Percy Pringle Abdullah Sheri Martel Barry Windham Rick Steiner Scott Steiner Bob Orton Jr. Barbarian Iron Sheik Ron Simmons Kevin Sullivan Ron Bass Jim Cornette
I have tried to pick new names for Charlotte next year, I don't think the same names as before will continue to draw and I think most if not all of the above names qualify as legends to most fans. That is more of an issue with some people than it is to me, I'd rather have more new names than see the exact same one's every year. I'd also not mind seeing some current or recent stars and ladies brought in by vendors but I think $20 for an autograph is insane (Virgil), I doubt I'd pay that much for anyone but if they can hold the price around $10 (picture included) I'd consider that.

No way WWE would let an active wrestler like Ric Flair sign autographs in non-WWE events.

No way WWE would let an active wrestler like Ric Flair sign autographs in non-WWE events. True, just a wishlist. I kind of think any WWE connected guys (Arn, etc.) have to be a bit tougher to get plus active as you say are near impossible. I forgot to add Sgt. Slaughter BTW.

We were talking about this on the way home and since Charlotte has been run 3 times already, I think a new theme is needed. Maybe a "old school meets new school" type of theme would work. It seems like there are more younger fans coming to these now than in 2004 when they started so that would help draw their friends as well. I think getting Superstar Graham to come in should be a top priority now. Plus Greg already has all the 8x10s ready . But as far as the theme I suggested, get some newer generation guys from the late 90s like Raven, Jerry Lynn, etc. Former ECW names are probably played out in the Northeast but not in NC. Mix them in with the old school guys like Magnum, Midnights, Terry Taylor, etc. Steve Williams would be cool as well. Just my 2 cents.

Knowing how Billy Graham has flaked on numerous appearances I don't know if Greg would want to take the chance (and why should he) of Graham pulling a stunt like this again.

They need to keep the 8x10's and come up with a cool back drop , also keep the Q&A's but don't have so many. come up with something new like play by play with a legend and put it on DVD so we can take it home with us. We need to have wrestling matches with old school and new school wrestlers. I do think we need new legends with a mix of some of the best of the best that have made the last few fanfest cool and fun. I would pay $130.00 for any 30 on this list , 2 Q&A's and the play by play DVD. I would pay $150.00 for all of that and a Wrestling show.

It would be the best id you could get Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan

Really Sunday just seems like a throw away day where everyone wants to go home and call it a day. How about 2 Q&A's Friday 7pm and 9pm , and then have fanfest run 9 am to 6pm Saturday with 2 autograph sessions 11 am and 3 pm , then have 2 Q&As at 7pm and 9pm and then that ends the whole thing! They could let VIPS in at 8am Saturday morning and do the Photo shoots Friday night so they would all be ready Saturday morning and that way we would already know who is actually showing up because they would arrive Friday afternoon.

my feeling is with it being 20 years since Wrestlemania 3 that since Bret had such a following this year and people were dragging out tons of old WWF stuff to get signed maybe next year the theme could be "a tribute to Wrestlemania 3". That could have people such as Jimmy Hart , Slick , Hilbilly Jim , Don Muraco , Butch Reed , Piper , Jake Roberts , Bundy , Ricky Steamboat... just a thought , I am ready to be trashed now.
